AI is used extensively for Problem-solving where the algorithms were devised by the researchers to imitate the process used by us- humans while we solve a puzzle. Further research lead to manage the incomplete information. The search is still on for efficient problem solving algorithms. Knowledge representation as the key factor where AI solves problems including extensive knowledge which is a representation of objects, properties, events, cause and effect, etc.

Setting intelligent goals is one of the goals of AI along with machine learning mainly unsupervised machine learning and supervised machine learning. The combination of computer science, psychology, and cognitive science is necessary before starting with algorithms. The subfields of Artificial Intelligence includes Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Expert Systems and Fuzzy Logic.

Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI)

It is also known as Weak AI and focuses on to perform singular tasks. They function under minimal limitations and does not imitate human intelligence. Certain parameters are set through which the human behaviour is stimulated. Chatbots and Siri use Natural language processing narrow AI to perform the specific tasks. Some of the examples of narrow AI include prediction tools, self- driving cars, facial recognition software etc.

Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)

Here, the machines mimic human intelligence and use it to solve problems. The research is still going on to achieve the level of intelligence. The usage of a set of cognitive abilities has still a long way to go. Recall, Recognition, Hypothesis testing, Implication, Analogy and Imagination are some of the properties of AGI.

Artificial Super-intelligence (ASI)

Super-Intelligence is a hypothetical concept. . Super-intelligence is when the machine surpasses human capabilities and becomes self-aware, building emotions of own and be better than humans in every field especially the decision making ability. The concept of artificial super-intelligence is still unknown to us, its consequences can’t be guessed, and its impact cannot be measured just yet.
